I wrote this as a cut down version of sailplay; where I just want to convert a GPS log file to a static map in PNG format. When I go for a ride or go sailing, I sometimes post up my adventures on netrider or GPSTC and a map like this accompanies the post.

The software has the option of a multi-colour tracks to indicate speed (plus a legend) or a mono colour when I don't want to reveal that I was breaking the speed limit (not that I do that..)
